Learn how to show up for the boys in your life and in your community

 What We’ll Cover

·       Understanding Young Men Today: Cultural Influences
We'll explore the current forces shaping boys—from social media algorithms and podcast personalities to peer culture and online pressure. What are boys learning about power, relationships, and identity—and what are they losing in the process?

·       Examining Our Own Beliefs and Biases
We’ll take time to reflect on our personal responses to “toxic masculinity,” generational differences, and our own discomfort around boys’ emotional expression. What unconscious messages are we passing on—and how can we interrupt that cycle?

·       What Adults Can Do: Reconnecting, Not Rescuing
Through real scenarios, conversation prompts, and practical tools, we’ll explore how to rebuild trust and open communication. You’ll walk away with strategies to foster emotional literacy, challenge harmful narratives, and support boys in becoming grounded, connected young men.

Who This Is For

Parents and caregivers of boys ages 8-21
Extended family members, mentors, coaches, and group leaders who want to better understand and support young men.
Anyone curious about the social culture and emotional challenges of young men today.

All those invested in spreading love more over fear in this conversation.

How men cope with rejection often dictates how they create, how they manifest, how they show up sexually and how they respond to setbacks in any creation process.

Rejection’s Long Shadow

Rejection’s Long Shadow is a revealing intensive that explores the quiet patterns keeping men emotionally and sexually isolated. We’ll unpack unconscious biases, the habits that limit your availability, unprocessed pain, and the long shadow of rejection—both the pain of being rejected and the weight of those you’ve turned away (for a moment, a day, a season, for “good”).

This session explores the internal blocks to intimacy, as well as what each of the sexes often misunderstand about men’s emotions when things get “intimate.”

In the course of two decades, I’ve observed  almost all the male leader’s I’ve worked with have had intimacy issues. Issues that impeded their optimal functioning, either internally or behaviorally.   This is regardless of their age, their relational status, their relational or sexual orientations. This is regardless of whether they talk to other men about relationship issues, or the quality of their current sex life. This is regardless of their upbringing, attachment style or Letter Code.

Founded on Dr. White’s clinical perspective:  “Almost all women need to work through “body issues” at some point of their development.  Almost all men need to work through “intimacy issues” at some point of their development.”

Collective Anger

Anger is often feared, suppressed, or misused. Regardless of how we encounter anger---it is a central theme of community re-creation right now. This small group experience is designed to boost our capacity to access and utilize epiphanies around it.

In this experience, we’ll explore how to transform anger from a destructive force into a powerful tool.

You’ll learn to engage with your anger consciously, rather than manage or repress it. Using principles of body awareness, sovereignty and emotional accountability, anger can be a catalyst for authenticity and collective forgiveness.

We’ll discuss how anger shows up for us personally, develops during certain relational dynamics as well as its role in the generating new ways of being in community.  Channeled effectively, anger can generate more trust and belonging.

We will explore how reclaiming it is essential to building resilient, connected communities.

Some of us will use our own inner fire and frustration to serve our highest visions for the future.  Some of us will mature our relationship between it and our body, and others will integrate the emotion and feeling without shame or judgement into a specific expression of masculine or feminine energy.

Research has shown that our beliefs frame and filter our expectations and perceptions. These are heavily influenced by our past, and also our peers. Being a mindful hu(man) these days requires us to question our assumptions, conclusions, and definitions. How do you respond when someone questions your perspective, your approach, your "truth?"

How do you interact with others whom you believe, sense, or "know" are operating on disinformation, misinformation, or outdated data?

Join us for an illuminating and activating community conversation on "Discerning Your Truth."

Together, let’s get clear on the difference between facts, disinformation, misinformation, and "truth."

Let’s engage in a deeper exploration of how we can reshape our collective beliefs to build a more informed, connected, and compassionate community.
